Hi Bob, Well, I think the passing years do make us appreciative of small acts of kindness, but I was an incredibly shy teen and I remember some amazing kindness from then, too. anne
Anne, I tried to comment on your January round robin, but could only find this comment link.
I have to inform you, the Australian Women’s Weekly comes out once a month. I wonder why the title isn’t Women’s Monthly? 🙂
Hi Bob, Good point I photographed some actual weeklies in a display in the wonderful open air museum in Queensland. Sadly, they were on the pc when it crashed. I haven’t been able to find them again (Australian pics). Must do better. sorry you couldn’t comment last month. Technology and its gremlins are a constant frustration. thanks for trying again, Anne
Anne, I am commenting on the August, 2016 round robin. I don’t know how to post a comment there directly.
How terrible for a person to suffer a burnt face, particularly for a young woman! About a year ago, it happened to a marathon runner, and her fiance was a great support and they married, so you’re basing your story on reality.
Hi Bob, I see your comment here. That is a sad true life story. I hadn’t heard of it in particular, just knew that accidents happen. Thanks for dropping by, Anne
Thank you for this post, Anne. As an old fellow, I appreciate help from others.

I liked the quote you gave, Anne. I had heard it before but quite forgotten it. I’m going to put that in my file of quotes.

Hi Victoria, thanks for dropping by and for providing such an interesting topic. I’ve really thought about why I don’t use either. Anne

Great post Anne and I loved your line about – let the reader know the bits of information it is important they do not get wrong. So true.
